Artist Statement:

I have been working with pen and ink since about 1997. I find that a very fine-nibbed rapidograph pen suits my style perfectly. It allows me to build up intricate detail. I am not exactly sure where my subject matter comes from. It might start with a shape, a brief image, emotion or even a melody, but after that, the pictures sort of create themselves.
