Jennifer Huberdeau

Artist Statement:: I work in a variety of mediums - watercolor, oil and acrylics, along with the occasional charcoal and pastel.

Biography:: Born in the beautiful Berkshires, I was raised in Adams, where I currently live with my husband and two children.
I began my studies in oil painting at the age of 10 under artist Len Stomski of Cheshire. My studies continued in high school under the guidance of Joan "Tiger" Waterman.
As a child and teenager I participated in numerous group shows and local competitions, remaining a top favorite. Upon entering college, I put down my paintbrush and picked up a pen - earning a degree in English with a concentration in journalism and a minor in art.
However my work has remained hidden since then.
My debut as an adult came this past November as part of the MySpace show at MCLA Gallery 51. In May I will participate in the first Berkshire Salon at the Eclipse Mill Gallery. A solo show of watercolors will debut in June at Cup and Saucer on Main Street, North Adams. I also have work for sale at Hudson's and North Adams Antiques.
