Artist Statement:
The colors and patterns of nature have always captured my attention with awe and reverence.
Biography:
Ihave been a middle school math and/or science teacher for 19 years. My artistic career began when I took a watercolor course with Pat Hogan at IS183 in the winter of 2003. I have since taken classes with other area watercolor artists, such as Karen Cook of Peru, Gloria Malcolm-Arnold of Lee, Peter Lefferts and Mel Stabin. For the past two years, I have also taken pastel classes with June Parker at IS183. I have come to realize that my passion for painting is a life long adventure.
