Dan Morgan

Artist Statement:: Dan enjoys showing the beauty in the world around us, both in beautiful landscapes as well as photographs of everyday things we often take for granted.

Biography:: Dan got his start in photography in a high school graphic arts class.
From there he studied physics, architecture and film at the University of Pittsburgh. He got a few jobs doing shoots at a small community theatre in the Pittsburgh area which started the gears turning.
After moving to North Adams in 1998, he spent some time photographing the area for the North Adams Transcript.
His images have received acclaim in both local and international competitions.
In October Dan will also have a small collection of work relating almost entirely to the North Adams on display at the North Adams Museum of Science and History, at Heritage State Park.
